I discovered BELLA PELLA in the district of « Mont Royal » in Montréal and I totally « Fell in love » with the brand and the colorful concept store.
BELLA PELLA are cosmetics made in Quebec, with natural ingredients. These home-made care combine aromatherapy, art of cooking and medicinal herbs according to original Italian recipes : the perfect formula !!!
In this store you will discover a lot of products such as:
soaps, perfumed shower gels, also a range of face products, even for men, a range for home and a last one for dogs : (yes !! really!!). All your family gonna be HAPPY !

When first I entered in the store, I felt I was in LUSH store. But in reality it’s not the same ! the Quality of products is different and the affordable prices really convinced me to purchase some of their products.
BESTS SELLERS : glycerin soap with original perfumes. (6,95 $ 125 g).
BELLA PELLA : STORY OF THE BRAND
The brand was created 10 years ago. Roberto Moriello (the founder) makes his first recipes by taking into account to his Italian grandmother’s .
Then, in 1999, he opened a store in Montreal. What do you find there? Ecological home-made products made with of essential oil, vegetables, extracts of fruits and of vegetables.
Recipes are inspired by Italy : they combine aromatherapy, art of cooking, scientific research and the most popular medicinal herbs.
Products are not tested on animals (nor even the range for dog which is tested on men !!) Today, BELLA PELLA proposes approximately 200 products.

BELLA PELLA : DISCOVERY & SHOPPING SESSION
Here is my crush and my purchase during my shopping at BELLA PELLA!!!
The prices are affordable : from 17$ to 23$ CAD (without tax) for a face cream ( 100ml so it is going to last for a verryyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time), $8 (without tax) for a solid shampoo, $19.90 (without tax) for the jar of exfoliating scrub body.

Here are the products that I bought :
(x 2!!!! One for me and one for my boyfriend). Edit : now the cream is not anymore in a jar but in a flask pump which is just perfect!! (I find it easier to transport and much more hygienic): We are really a fan of this cream : discreet flavor, fast absorbed texture, a very pratical flask and small price: 20/20!!
Mr. finally found it too strong : A too present mentholated smell and a sensation of warmth on the skin : it’s a pity but I am going to use it to shave my legs
- Shaving Soap : Mr didn’t try it (yet)
Iwas completely unable to resist the smell!!! It is a real pleasure to use !!! I would do a body scrub every day if it was possible ! If your friends do not like to eat the maple syrup here is the ideal present to be brought back from Canada!
I chose the rosemary one which is a good one : a fine foam, easy to use and a very good reasult for my hairs. The smell does not stay r a very long time, what personally does not disturb me . Now I am going to find a small box for transport.
- I also bought the Mommy Balm for a friend.
(she aks me to buy one for her !!) It is a great practical moisturizing balm because it appears in stick as a deodorant what seems to me really very practical. (Especially for transportation)
- I also had the opportunity to try the CLAY MASK with marine collagen : I really loved it !! This mask with clay has clear my (sensitive) skin of the impurities but it was not »too strong » It also contains extract of green, antioxidant and beneficial tea for the congested skin
If you go to Royal Moun distric you now know which gonna be your next stop ! And I hope you gonna find good products for your skin !!!

A la découverte de Montréal et du quartier du Mont Royal je suis »tombée en amour » pour la marque et la boutique colorée BELLA PELLA.
BELLA PELLA se sont des produits de beauté made in Québec , avec des ingrédients naturels. Ces soins artisanaux combinent l’aromathérapie, l’art culinaire et les herbes médicinales selon des recettes italiennes originales : que du bonheur !!!!!
Dans la boutique vous découvrirez des savons et gels douche parfumés, mais aussi une gamme de produits visage, une gamme pour hommes une pour la maison et …. une gamme pour chien ! De quoi satisfaire toute la famille !!
La boutique m’a d’abord rappelé la marque LUSH mais c’est la qualité et le prix des produits qui m’a convaincue.
Produits-cultes : Les savons à la glycérine aux parfums originaux. (6,95 $ les 125 g).
BELLA PELLA : HISTOIRE DE LA MARQUE
La marque a été créée il y a maintenant 10 ans. C’est en s’inspirant des recettes de sa grand-mère italienne que Roberto Moriello fabrique ses premiers savons. Puis, en 1999, il ouvre un magasin à Montréal . Ce qu’on y propose? Des créations artisanales écologiques composées d’huiles essentielles, de végétaux, d’extraits de fruits et de légumes.
Les recettes s’inspirent de l’Italie : ils combinent l’aromathérapie, l’art culinaire, la recherche scientifique et les herbes médicinales les plus populaires.
Les produits ne sont pas testés sur les animaux (ni même la gamme pour chien … qui est testée sur des hommes ). Aujourd’hui, BELLA PELLA propose environ 200 produits pour se chouchouter de la tête aux pieds.
BELLA PELLA : DECOUVERTE ET SHOPPING
Voici mes coup de cœur et mes achat lors de ma session shopping chez BELLA PELLA !!!
Les prix sont aussi très très raisonnables : de 17 à 23 $ CAD (sans taxe) pour une crème visage jour ( qui fait 100ml alors elle va durer trèèèèèèèèèès longtemps) , 8$ (sans taxe) pour un shampoing solide, 19.90$ (sans taxe) pour le pot de gommage corps.
De mon coté j’ai rapporté dans mes valises les produits suivants :
- crème hydratante au collagène marin : ( x 2 !!!!une pour moi et une pour mon chéri ) A noter que la crème se présente à présent en flacon pompe…. c’est juste parfait !! (je trouve cela plus facile à transporter et beaucoup plus hygiénique) : Nous sommes vraiment fan de cette crème tous les deux : parfum discret, texture vite absorbée, flacon pratique et petit prix : 20/20 !!
- crème à raser : Mr. l’a finalement trouvé trop forte , une odeur mentholée trop présente et des sensation de chaud sur la peau … dommage …. je testerai en rasage des jambes.
- savon à raser : pas encore testé par Mr.
- gommage au sucre d’érable : Alors la j’ai complètement craqué pour l’odeur !!! C’est un vrai plaisir à utiliser, si je m’écoutai ce serait gommage tous les jours ! Et si vos amies n’aiment pas déguster le sirop d’érable voici le cadeau idéal à rapporter du Canada !
- shampoing solide : J’ai choisi celui au romarin : Promesse tenue : une fine mousse et des cheveux au top. l’odeur ne reste par contre pas très longtemps, ce qui personnellement ne me dérange pas ps : il va falloir que je pense à trouver une petite boite de transport.
- Et pour une amie qui me l’avait demandé le Baume Maman, un baume hydratant super pratique car il se présente en stick (comme un déodorant) ce qui me semble vraiment très pratique. (surtout pour le transport).
- J’ai aussi eu l’occasion de tester le masque à l’argile avec du collagène marin que je vous recommande, il fera parti de mon prochain shopping bag. Ce masque à base d’argile a débarrasse ma peau (sensible) des impuretés tout en la respectant. Il contient aussi des extrait de thé vert, antioxydant et bénéfique pour la peau congestionnée.
Si vous passez par le quartier du Mont Royal vous savez désormais où vous arrêter !
